Pastor Accused Of Stealing From Parishoners
Bangor, Maine - The former Pastor of a church in Bangor has been indicted by a grand jury for theft.
Pastor Ronald Durham is accused of stealing more than a hundred thousand dollars from the Abundant Life Church, where he served for 15 years.
Durham resigned from his position two years ago. After he left, church members discovered the money was missing.
The church's board members are now following new guidelines, to make sure every penny on the collection plate is counted and people are held accountable.
The Senior Minister at the Abundant Life Church says the church will not pursue a civil suit against Ronald Durham.
Durham now lives in Savannah, Georgia. He could not be reached for comment.
