Pastor Resigns In Church Theft Case

A Northern Kentucky pastor who pleaded guilty to defrauding a bank and the federal government has resigned from his position at the church.

Earlier this month, Larry Davis pleaded guilty to tax evasion and filing a false loan application.

The investigation began when more than $700,000 turned up missing from the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring.

On Wednesday night, church officials accepted his resignation.
